Our Norman Picket Fence Basket, Series 9, is a beautiful homage to Norman Rockwell's beloved painting called “The Lady was Miss Polly”, which was featured in his heartwarming children’s book, "Willie Was Different". The book, written by Rockwell’s wife Molly, tells the story of Willie, a gawky, pigeon-toed bird who could compose his own music, and his friendship with Miss Polly, who appreciates his creativity.

The design of the sturdy rectangular basket was inspired by the classic American picket fences that surrounded homes and gardens. The handcrafted basket has open maple vertical up-splints resembling picket fences and a sturdy woven bottom. The generously sized basket is the perfect size for artificial flowers or can be used as a container for holding paper plates, napkins, and flatware. The official Norman Rockwell logo can be seen on the inside band of the basket.

Along with the basket, the Norman Rockwell Picket Fence Basket Protector is proudly crafted in Dresden, Ohio. It is made with recycled materials and is BPA-free and food-grade safe, making it a durable and healthy option for your daily use while also extending the life of the basket.

The Norman Rockwell Picket Fence Basket comes with a Certificate of Authentication Card to ensure its authenticity.
